Seize the Day

Year 2008 is just around the corner...I'm sure majority people are looking forward for the new year party bash. The count down will be aired on TV from one city to one city, country by country. 10..9..8..7..6..5..4..3..2..1! HAPPY NEW YEAR! Everyone on the street and at home cheering up..and there will be awesome fireworks at most major cities in the world. Hmmm....if I were a cosmonaut...I wonder.. what do I see on the eve of new year's celebration from space?

I feel the wind of change is blowing in my face. Yes, I am moving forward but approaching a different angle...This is not about 2008 resolution..it is about some plans I have laid out for the year 2008. Wish me luck k!

To some pit stops I make this year especially;

1. GG...thank you for letting me into your world. You changed me a lot. From zero to...no..I'm not a hero...I learn a lot from you. Love working with you. I remembered the first time we got to know each other..it all started with Cakapgold and our story line was ..'the moral of the story..". I wish you all the best in your future undertakings.

2. Stumplin...my guru..hahaha about blogging la..otherwise, Yuna Sphere does not exist! Hey, where have you been la...I thank you soooo muchy! I hope you are doing fine brother! Take care!

3. Metharox...my first friend on online business thingy...you are my online business advisor! hahahaha....don't laugh! It was not your fault but mine. I didn't do as you have advised. But you are an honest person...aisey..where have you been my friend?

4. Drexar...Cakapgold's FF 'Cloud'. Eeee...you are so hot! You are the only person at Cakapgold with FF in your head. Thanks for those FF songs and FF previews at Cakapgold MTV. Yeah! FF Rules!

5. Nur...the only girl whom I have fun getting to know with. A strong willed and gutsy lady. We share some secrets..a girl to girl talk. Thanks for being there during my confusion time. Hope you and your family are fine and all the best!

6. Salihin...for a guy who is a bit pushy...I really underestimate you. You are ok my friend. Looks like now, you are more confident in your undertakings...and happy 'awek-ing' hahahaha...May W.E. be with you! (TW la...) hahahaha...kelakar!

7. Anand...we 'clicked' from the first day we got to know each other. My very first best friend buddy from Mybloglog. You are sooooo 'baik nyer!' ( nice la..). What you said make sense. 8. Fareeq Yong...my newest online friend. We share of the same interest..that's the fun part...yes, I love to play war games...there is a story behind all these hehehe...too bad I didn't get to know you sooner. It could be a different battlefield..but you are so much of neo nazi and I was the american 'Medal of Honor' hahahaha...it could be fun to fight! fight! fight!

And last but not least, to my favourite guys! I love them so muchy! I could just hug them if I could...they bring me joy when I am in pain. A 'happening' lots! So much so...I gave and gave and gave...we share so much in 'whatever'! They make me laugh right from the very beginning of our friendship...something I cannot explain. "Hey! you got the best of me la..!"

1. Naqi - Mr Kamen Rider! A strong headed person but a very kind hearted guy. An individuality! To be the first of anything! To get the best of whatever! An attention grabber. A supporter. Understanding. Energetic. Comical. Funny. Happy. In short..he is the sun!

2. Tenko - Mr Nice guy! Hmm...mysterious (to me, now no more huhuhu). Cold blooded and hot blooded animal (what? hahahaha..). Romantic in his own way ( I think someone don't agree and is laughing already..hahahaha..ceh!). Understanding. An advisor. A Gamer. The 'General'. My guitar man aka Steve Vai. Modest. Smarty pants. Padawan chef. Parit Raja's Sleeping Beauty. The coolest guy on the planet! In short ..he is the moon.

Away from home...somewhere ...far away...

I opened my eyes...staring at the sea...the waves...the sound of the ocean... the soft glow of the morning dusk greets me...so calm. Somehow I thought of things I went through..my laughter, my happiness, my sorrow, my sorriness and my peace. I've been thinking and thinking..a lot! so much so I want to leave behind the scar that runs deep in me. I keep holding on..but oh come on..everyone knows..if a person care so much, he/she just don't disappear like that. They won't even make you sad or cry.....so? (you already got your answer, my lady)

"History repeats itself" that's what I told him. The fear in me was so great, it pulls me under...no matter how much he tried to convince that things would be different this time. Burning midnight oil

I stayed up almost everynight. I usually spend my time at Tribalwars. To those who are familiar with this MMORPG online game may be wondering ...why on earth Yuna is spending so much time there when she can set and just leave. Well..I am not alone. At times I discuss with the General and also other members that need my help and advises. I have my missions and strategies and plan to keep it that way. Almost everyone put their effort to make our Tribe among the best and the giants. Beside, that is my fun time!

And of course, been spending some time chatting with my favourite guy until dawn. Never once a boring hour. "Are you sleepy?" I'd ask if it pass 4:00 am. We could go on and on and on. "Yuna, it is already 5:30am la.." he told me today...My goodness..time flies! I wished it was off day today so that I could catch my sleep. Yet..we still continued to stretch a few more minutes before saying "Good morning and sweet dreams"

We usually close the chapter of our day with our Final Fantasy play

Me: Ok, I'll be seeing you in a short while. You left your crow bar the other day (Half-life)

Him: Don't forget to bring your gun slinger (FF X-2). I'm using my silver baller (Hitman)

Me: The zombies could recognise you from far. Your baldness shine....wear a wig!

Him: I don't need a wig. I got a barcode to show-off! You better watch out when I go berzerk and trigger happy

Me: You think I don't have a cool move?

Him: Also, make sure you don't friendly fire me!

Me: Though Nemises (Resident Evil 3) is bald but you are much better looking! hahaha..

Use your imagination

I dreaded myself to the kitchen today. Didn't know what to cook. What's the menu? I took out a pomfret fish and decided a simple dish would do. While waiting the fish to defrost, I defrost myself..hahahaha...meaning, I decided to take a nap. Imagined I was shopping at Midvalley and soon I was Zzzzzz....

Again, imagining I had my own TV show on 'Cooking made Simple'. Giving some cooking skills and tips. I was guiding and explaining huhuhuhuhu....(Hey! there was a camera in front of me! and I was like Martha Steward) Geez! give me a break! Anyway, my imagination kept me going and moving. Thus my time in the kitchen was not dreaded one after all. :D

Back in my room, I was thinking about my blogs. I haven't been touching for awhile. I somehow remembered that morning he was telling me about those days he played for his band "Red Letter Day'. They played 'Reptilia' (The Strokes), his favourite song. Then I wrote " Tell us a story I know you're not boring". We laughed. It was wee hours in the morning and there was never a boring hour that kept us going on and on. So I went to YouTube and searched for 'Reptilia'. No..I wasn't looking at cute Julian..I was looking at those fingers strumming the guitar. Makes me to imagine, him playing his Ibanez for the Red Letter Day. I was about to call in and I thought I give him a goodnight song from YouTube. It has been awhile we haven't exchange dedication songs. "Hey, what are you up to?" he asked when there was no respond from me. I just wanted to surprise him and didn't want him to know. "Ow, I am at YouTube..I forgot the name of the band I'm looking for". Cool dude

I am a very patient person. I keep my cool though my hair is on fire...hahahaha. I'm able to put on a straight face pretending it doesn't hurt. But once it reach the limit, I feel like running as far as I could. Like Tidus in FF10..disappear in thin air..non existence.

My good friend advised me to just ignore any unpleasant situation and put on a smile. About him, hmm...he is the coolest person that I know. Cooler than me. " It is not about 'I-don't give-a-damn' but 'I-don't-want-your-shit' thingy. He said; "Pretend like nothing happened and treat them as usual. If they still continue, just let them be and put on a smile."

So I am learning from him...I want to break free and thus no one will question my integrity and my sincerity. Then he said; "Hmm.. yaa..but please..don't la...be yourself but if you can forget it, it's ok la..but don't keep it in your heart". There are memories best left to forget, so you can move on. Dream to sleep

"Say Hi to Yuna k" he said before we bid goodnight. Hahahaha...don't get confused. I have a lullaby pillow which is round, one side is blue and other is green. It is named after Yuna, the female protagonist in both Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2 games who also consequently has heterochromatic irises: one blue and one green. Cute idea isn't it? He was surprised when he got to know about it. "You are too much!" he added.

Before that, we were discussing about dreams. "Do you usually have a bad or good dream?" he asked. "Hmm..good one!" for I usually think of good things before putting myself to sleep. He said he hasn't been dreaming for such a long time and if it does, it is usually a bad dream. A frightening one. "Lets not talk about this will ya!". Yeah..I guess it is kind of spooky if one is alone and away from home at such late hour. Best not to think about eerie atmosphere. "OK, lets talk about good things before we bid goodnight". So we jokes for a while.

Not in the mood

Typed 'whatever' in the YouTube search box. Not in the mood actually. Just passing my night time until I think of something...an idea. I go online a couple of times in a day just to check on Tribalwars. Yes, our tribe is doing fairly well indeed. Our next target is, rank 100 in World 7. Somehow I felt like we are one big family in World 7. Discussing strategies, things we need to do to level up and seeking advises from the peers. And sometimes, I think we are nuts! Obviously we are still at the infant stage on the battle ground but hey! we met our missions. Though there is no short cuts to be the best in Tribalwars. "We are out numbered among the giants!" Tenko once said "They are more organised compare with us" But I never gave up! I once fought till the last drop with the 3 giants who conquered my fort. There goes my Balamb Garden...she's my precious and I have never turned my back, not even once.
